How GeoMod collects, uses and protects your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
1. Who we are
GeoMod (“we”, “us”) designs and delivers prefabricated modular dome dwellings in South Africa. For the purposes of POPIA, GeoMod is the responsible party for the personal information described in this notice.

2. What information we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us through the enquiry form on this website:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone or WhatsApp number
- The category you select (lodge or hospitality operator, developer, private owner, investor or partner)
- Anything you write in the message field about your site or project
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build behavioural profiles of visitors. This site uses no cookie-based analytics.
3. Why we collect it, and on what basis
We process this information for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and to have the conversation you asked for about a possible GeoMod project. The lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form, together with our legitimate interest in responding to people who approach us about our work.
Supplying your details is entirely voluntary. If you would rather not, simply contact us directly instead — but without contact details we cannot reply to an enquiry.
4. Who your information is shared with
Your enquiry is sent to GeoMod and to Geek Flow, the agency that built and maintains this website on GeoMod’s behalf. We use the following service providers (operators) to receive and store enquiries:
- Google (Google Sheets and Google Apps Script) — stores the enquiry and emails it to us.
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and provides Turnstile, a privacy-preserving check that blocks automated spam submissions.
These providers process data on servers that may be located outside South Africa. Both operate under data-protection commitments that POPIA section 72 recognises as comparable safeguards. We never sell your personal information, and we do not share it for marketing purposes.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any project that follows from it, and thereafter only as long as the law requires. If your enquiry does not lead to a project, you can ask us to delete it at any time and we will.
6. How we protect it
Enquiries travel over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and are stored in access-controlled Google accounts held by GeoMod. Access is limited to the people who need it to respond to you. Should a breach affect your personal information, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.
7. Your rights
Under POPIA you have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or update it;
- ask us to delete it, or to stop using it;
- object to our processing of it;
- withdraw your consent at any time; and
- lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
To exercise any of these, email us at stevenmidair@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable period, and there is no charge for a request of this kind.
8. The Information Regulator
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa):
